Who loves a little arranged marriage romance? I don't know about you, but I eat this trope, I survive by reading marriage of conveniences. They are just so wholesome (kinda) I love them. Maybe also because this the trope most likely going to happen to me. I am fine with that, totally. Because of course, I am going to get a husband like the guys in one of these books: Terms and Conditions by Lauren Asher Ah, the TikTok favourite. I will be honest here, this was not my favourite, I liked the first book The Fine Print more. But still, Terms and Conditions was a great book. It had a badass female lead, a grumpy boss, lots of sexual tension, and lots of brotherly ribbing. And of course, lots of money. Declan Kane have to have a heir within one year to be able to lay claim to his grandfather's property. And this man just doesn't care . 7 Slow Burn Romances That Will Make You Tingle

Slow Burn has been one of my favourite tropes of all time - the anticipation, the tension, the second-guessing, the little moments. I live for all of those. But unfortunately, this is not a trope that is found frequently in my experience. Or at least, well-written slow burn romances. It is not an easy trope to write and it shows. The littlest mistake or impatience in the plot makes it all drain down the pipe.
